Time to get started on this year's Tri-State Gazette bonus issue.
The Phineas and Ferb Wiki will be publishing a bonus newsletter at the end of the year, with a word search and crossword puzzle, and featuring a lot of fan art about the show. There are many artists here that have made some great pictures relating to the show, whether they are drawn or in some other media.
Once again, we're going to have two groups of pictures. The first group is a gallery of three pictures for each of the more prolific artists. The second group is single pictures by artists that haven't done a lot in the world of Phineas and Ferb, but what they did make really stood out when I was searching for/browsing through P&F pictures over the past year.
Both will help generate additional interest in the artist's work from outside DeviantArt, and in the case of the individual spotlights, maybe encourage the artist to make more pictures relating to P&F.
If you've been invited to be a part of the bonus issue, I hope you will give us permission to use your picture(s). If you're reading this and you haven't been invited, it just means that there were more artists that made great Phineas and Ferb pictures than we could include in the bonus issue. We may contact you for the 2012 bonus issue, or you could put yourself down as an alternate in case one or more artists wish not to take part in this year's issue.
There's more details on my blog (phineasandferb.wikia.com/wiki/…) but here's some of the more important points:
* We have to upload a copy of the picture to the wiki. We can't hotlink back here because DeviantArt has its own method of displaying pictures and we can't control the size of hotlinked pictures on the wiki.
* Your dA user name will be a part of the file name, and each picture will have full credits about where we got it. The newsletter will also have a link back to your dA gallery.
* No fan fiction characters (we have a sister wiki for fanfic characters), but cross-overs with other shows are welcome.
* Pictures need to be appropriate for kids.
* If you're in the first section (the gallery of three pictures per artist), please let me know if there are specific pictures you want featured, or whether we can choose them ourselves.
Deadline for responding is December 29, 2011. You can respond here or on the blog. We won't use any pictures if an artist doesn't respond, but it will help if we hear specifically that they don't want to be included. That way, we can invite another artist in their place.

Phineas and Ferb Wiki's 2012 bonus issue
On December 31st, the Phineas and Ferb Wiki (http://phineasandferb.wikia.com) will be publishing another bonus issue of its newsletter. I will be contacting artists that I'd like to include in the newsletter.
Much of the details and procedure are the same as before, so I will refer you to last year's announcement, "Phineas and Ferb Wiki 2011 bonus issue invitation" in my journal, located here: http://rrabbit42.deviantart.com/journal/Phineas-and-Ferb-Wiki-2011-bonus-issue-invitation-274666674. (If that link doesn't work, go into my older journals and read the one with that title.) The difference is that this year, we're going to feature artis
P and F Wiki 2010 bonus issue - individual invitat
Looks like I sent out too many invitations too quickly, and now the DeviantArt servers are starting to flag them as spam. If you look at my journal area, you'll see that I have another one called "Phineas and Ferb Wiki 2010 bonus issue invitation". That provides the general information about the bonus newsletter that I'd like you to take part in.
Please read that blog and let me know if you want to participate in the newsletter. I have the list of which picture from which artist I'd like to include, so each artist just has to respond yes or no and I'll handle it from there.
Here's what would have been in that message on the individual pictu
